Camp Description:

There are various artistic expressions, and different from traditional painting, we can explore unique pleasures by using fabrics. This week, we'll learn how to create a personalized wool felt with individual characteristics and colors. Transforming this beautiful felt through sewing and cutting, we'll craft a cute and compact hand clutch. Additionally, we'll introduce children to the world of yarn, encouraging them to use different yarn materials to create distinctive yarn art and adorable ornaments. This immersive experience will guide students to explore artistic creation beyond traditional paint, showcasing the captivating textures of different materials.

 

藝術表現形式多樣，除了傳統的繪畫方式，我們還能透過布料帶來全新的樂趣。這週我們將學習如何創作一塊獨一無二、個人風格濃厚的羊毛濕氈，並透過巧妙的縫紉和剪裁，打造一個可愛而精緻的手拿包。此外，我們將引導孩子認識毛線，鼓勵他們運用不同材質的毛線，創作出獨具特色的毛線畫和可愛的掛件。這豐富的體驗將引領學生進入除了傳統顏料以外的藝術創作領域，展現不同材質所帶來的迷人質感。

Camp Schedule & Fee:

Full Day Camp (Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 3:00 pm): $580 

(Registration Fee $80 + Camp Fee $500) / 1 Week 

  • Class Time: Mon - Fri, 9 am - 3 pm 

  • Additional Hours: 3 pm - 5 pm ($20 per hour)

  • All art materials are included

  • Lunch is not included. Please pack your lunch daily! Studio will offer light snacks.

What Campers Learn:

  • Ability to sketching, and painting techniques to achieve their vision

  • Paper cutting skill

  • Wet-felt making skills

  • Yarn cutting and making skills

  • Fabric sewing skill

  • Ability to use and combine different types of materials.

  • A presentation of Art Reflection (Public speech training)

 

What Campers Create:

  • A wet felted

  • A wet-felted hand clutch 

  • A painting made of yarns

  • An ornament made of yarns

  • A public presentation

Camp Fee, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Camp Fee and Refund Policy: (Party B)

  • The website service fee is 3.5% and it’s not refundable (Including all reasons).

  • The camp Fee includes all materials and instructions.

  • The $80 registration fee is non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made before 4/30 will be refunded 100%  (Registration fees not included).

  • Cancellations before 5/30 will be refunded 50% back  (Camp of June and registration fees are not included).

  • Non-refundable after May.

  • No credited offer for all missed classes during the COVID-19-related or other illness.

Cancellation Policy (Party A)

  • C.C. Arts & Crafts Studio reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason. Students enrolled in a class that is canceled will be notified by phone or email. 

  • Classes cancellation 100% refund. (Registration fee included, 3.5% website service fee is not included)

  • C.C. Arts & Crafts Studio reserves the right to adjust the summer camp contents based on students' needs.​​
