Creating Art with Botanical

植物藝術創作

Camp Description:

Summer is a season of blooming and lush leaves. This week will lead students out of the classroom to experience the beauty of nature. Students will know how to collect and learn about beautiful flowers and plants and use the collected plants to create a series of plant color cards. Then, we will use plaster printing and UV resin to preserve the plants' beauty permanently. We will combine these two methods to create beautiful plaster decorations and plates, and we also will have students use their creativity to collage a unique and personal artwork.

At C.C. Arts & Crafts, all of our students become amazing CREATORS.

 

夏天是個花繁葉茂的季節，這一週的課程將是帶領學生走出教室，體驗大自然的美麗，帶領學生收集與認識美麗的花草植物，並用搜集來的花草創作，製作ㄧ系列的植物色卡。再用石膏拓印和UV 樹脂的方式來永久封存植物的美。最後使用這兩種方式創作出美麗的石膏擺設和盤子，再讓學生發揮他們的創意拼貼出一幅獨具個人特色的作品。

  • Only offers 12 spaces, (SOLD OUT)

  • Age limited is 5 years old and up

  • If the participants do not reach 6 people, the studio will automatically refund. The website service fee does not include.

Camp Schedule & Fee:

Full Day Camp (Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 3:00 pm): $550 

(Registration Fee $75 + Camp Fee $475) / 1 Week 

  • Class Time: Mon - Fri, 9 am - 3 pm 

  • Additional Hours: 3 pm - 5 pm ($20 per hour)

  • All art materials are included

  • Lunch is not included, please pack your lunch daily! Studio will offer light snacks.

What Campers Learn:

  • Botanical knowledge learning

  • Color of botanical learning

  • Casting skill 

  • Acrylic painting skill

  • Ability to collage the botanical to the painting

  • UV resin skill

  • Ability to use and combine different types of materials.

  • A presentation of Art Reflection (Public speech training)

 

What Campers Create:

  • A painting with botanical and color block

  • Botanical relief casting in Plaster 

  • A plaster-casting decor 

  • A tray made by UV resin botanical decor 

  • A botanical collage painting

  • A public presentation

Tuition Includes:

  • 1- week of instruction

  • 1- week different types of painting materials

  • A Set of plaster materials

  • A set of UV resin materials

  • Two botanical collage paintings with thermal lamination

Camp Price (Final Sale)

For person:

Enroll for 1-week camp: $550  

Enroll for 2-week camps: $1070 Save up $30

Enroll for 3-week camps:  $1560 Save up $90

Camp Fee, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Camp Fee and Refund Policy: (Party B)

  • The website service fee is not refundable (Including all reasons).

  • The camp Fee includes all materials and instructions.

  • The $75 registration fee is non-refundable.

  • Cancellations before 4/30 will refund 100% back ( Registration fees not included).

  • Cancellations before 5/30 will refund 50% back (Camp of June and registration fees are not included).

  • Non-refundable after May.

Cancellation Policy (Party A)

  • C.C. Arts & Crafts Studio reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason. Students enrolled in a class, which is canceled, will be notified by phone or email. 

  • Classes cancellation 100% refund. (Registration fee included, the website service fee is not included)

  • C.C. Arts & Crafts Studio reserves the right to adjust the summer camp contents based on students' needs.

Covid Policy: (Party B)

  • The studio only offers onsite camp.

  • If the Federal, State, or Local government imposes a shelter-in-place order that limits the ability for camps to run, campers will receive prorated studio credits minus the registration fee for each camp. 

  • No credited offer for all missed classes during the Covid-19-related illness.
